The Raspberry-Pi makes an excellent small server for running a RedRatHub instance.
For those unaware of RedRatHub, it has been designed as a simple method for managing and using RedRat devices, providing a set of easy to use APIs to help integration of RedRat devices with third party applications and systems.
RedRatHub has been recently updated to run on .NET Core, which is supported on Windows, Linux and Mac. Once running, it requires very little CPU overhead, easily within the capabilities of a small device such as the Raspberry-Pi.
Other new RedRatHub features include:
- A web based UI for viewing RedRat devices. (Management features coming soon.)
- A HTTP RESTfull API for sending commands
- Built-in documentation for both the HTTP and socket server APIs.
